Timer settings

Enable free parking reminderOnce enabled you'll get a web notification and chime before the free period ends.
Default 2 hours. Adjust to match mall or car park policies.
Used for estimates. Supports 0.5 Yuan steps.
Default 15 minutes; charged in half-hour steps after that.
Use 0 for no duration cap.
Use 0 for no amount cap.
When enabled, the timer resets automatically 24 hours after it starts.

Free online parking timer and cost estimator

Parking Reminder combines a precise parking timer, free period alerts, and parking fee calculation so you always know how long you have stayed and how much it may cost.

Saved parking locations and a multilingual interface make it easy to find your car again and avoid unexpected charges.

How To Use

  1. Open the settings card to enter the free allowance, hourly rate, and optional caps for an accurate parking fee estimator.
  2. Press Start timer to begin tracking; the app highlights upcoming deadlines and overtime with notifications when enabled.
  3. When leaving, tap Reset timer to confirm the session is over and clear the current timer.

FAQ

How does the parking cost calculator work?

It deducts the unconditional free minutes, charges at least one hour for the remaining time, then rounds up to half-hour blocks. With 15 free minutes and a rate of 15 per hour, without caps, stays of 15, 60 and 90 minutes cost 0, 15 and 22.50 respectively. The free-period reminder does not deduct fees. Check the car park’s posted tariff for the final charge.

Will my iPhone alert me when the screen is locked?

An unpaused timer is restored from saved timestamps when you reopen the page, but the phone may suspend background tabs. Notifications and sounds are not guaranteed while locked or closed. Set a phone alarm for important deadlines. In Safari, use Share and Add to Home Screen for quick access.

Do I need an account, and is parking history saved?

No signup is required. The current timer, settings and saved parking location stay in this browser. There is no parking history or cross-device sync. Reset clears the current timer; clearing website data can also remove your timer and settings.

Does the parking timer keep running if I disable free reminders?

Yes. The parking fee calculation always uses your saved rate, free minutes, and caps even when reminder notifications are turned off.

Will the timer continue if I close the tab?

If the session was started, reopening the app restores the start time and resumes the parking timer from where it left off.
